An OS world is an OWOT world intended to mimic an operating system found on one's computer.

Worlds that mimic operating systems without the use of scripts. They contain ASCII replicas of webpages that users can navigate using coordinate links.

OutcastOS

Created by OUTCAST on December 30th, 2019.

The world was unclaimed and wiped at an unknown point.

/NoName

/NoName was created by Katiserie on June 26th, 2020.

/CvOS

/cvos was created by Cv on March 21st, 2021.

/slOS

/slOS was created by Katiserie on March 29th, 2021.

/AftonOS

/AftonOS was created by AndreiXYZ on March 29th, 2021.

/GracieOS

/GracieOS was created by Gracie on April 1st, 2021.

/computer.yes

Created by Meimei on November 28th, 2022.

/computer.yes was updated throughout 2022 and was even made WOTD at one point. Much of its paths have been left unfinished due to burnout. Despite this, the world is memorable for containing some of the best art on Our World of Text.

By Bzuki, who also created a large amount of sequels to this world.

The world (and its sequels) are often criticized for being low effort.

Scripted OS worlds

Simulated operating systems that are interactive through the use of scripts.

/Hellow173/os

/Hello173/os was created on October 17th, 2025, shortly after Hello returned from a long hiatus.

It enabled users to interact with a working (albeit simple) operating system using comu links. Functions included typing into a notepad and creating documents/folders.

On October 19th, 2025, Hello added an MP4 player that allowed users to record the computer's screen.

/guivostop

/guivostop, which ran briefly on December 24th, 2025, was a virtual machine controlled by commands in chat.
