Post-release notes
Plans to phase out or remove Global have been scrapped. This was announced in the Global chat during the week. The front page chat may be re-enabled on special occasions such as holidays.
The WOTD has been extended
The world /tree_of_plants has been extended throughout the week.
Daily screenshots to be viewable outside Discord
As mentioned in Release 1, the daily screenshots that are posted regularly on the Discord server will soon be viewable outside Discord as a standalone app.
This would mark as the stepping stone for our efforts to reduce our reliance on Discord.
OWOT continues to run on a temporary server
After 81 days since July 31, OWOT is still running on a temporary server. Please see the section Our World of Text is still running on a temporary server from a previous release for more information.
FP had some pizza yesterday
On Saturday, FP ate a New York style slice of pizza. It is thought that this pizza will be converted into energy to be used for working on OWOT.
