Meimei
Meimei, also known as Kiki on YWOT, was a talented artist who created a variety of drawings in 2022. She has not made any art since, but was still present on OWOT as a lurker(at least up until late 2024).
Her reception within the userbase is mixed, as she was connected to notoriously toxic elements of the community such as the Man Hating Zone and the now deleted Sleepycat chatroom.
Meimei's text color is #FFA1B7.
Art
Meimei was known for creating some of the most high quality art in all of OWOT, being rivaled only by Kkb and some of the Man Hating Zone's anonymous artists.
She primarily used traditional ASCII characters for her art, though the occasional unicode would be thrown in and she once created a SLC piece for Christmas 2022.
/computer.yes
An interactive OS world where users can also leave the computer to explore their bedroom.
/computer.yes was updated throughout 2022 and was even made WOTD at one point. Much of its paths have been left unfinished due to burnout.

As Kiki, Meimei owns three worlds.
- /~kiki./: Main world.
- /~kiki./archive: A world where Kiki/Meimei archives her art.
- /~kiki./stairway: An open world project featuring a deep sewer and a towering spiral stairway, along with a variety of towns and flora to either side of the world. The world is mostly unfinished due to burnout.

Cocoa
Cocoa was an aspiring ASCII artist who looked up to Meimei. Upon being asked for advice, Meimei suggested that Cocoa use references for her art and imitate artists she admire.
Sleepycat Users
A chatroom created PinkiePie.
Meimei was an active member of Sleepycat before its closure, and would occasionally visit its predecessor Wokecat.
Her reputation on the now defunct message board is mostly obscure, but she was once described as "the only one considered lawful good by sleepycatters;" though it must be said that this is by no means a high bar given the type of person who'd frequent that website. YWOT user Yosicat recounts her being really friendly when he talked to her and even giving him member on one of her worlds.
D9eoead, another Sleepycat user and a former friend of Meimei, reported that "Sleepycat corrupted her" and that "when she first joined she was super nice." He also adds "She’s really good at art but….. she used it to make… questionable things….." According to him, Meimei once posted a drawing of "shitting dicknipples" into Sleepycat, of which no screenshot is (thankfully) known to exist.
Though not a member of the chatroom himself, Lime.owot remembers her being active at the same time as Polonez. He describes how Meimei espoused transphobic views during this time that made him feel "unreasonably betrayed."
The MHZ

Meimei is suspected to be a (former) member of the Man Hating Zone since she supports much of their views, shares some of their humor and has publicly praised them in the past. If this is the case then she would have been one of the only MHZers with an identity outside the Hivemind; a true anomaly within an otherwise anonymous community.
Meimei was reportedly kicked out of the Hivemind for unknown reasons. It is unclear what role they played within the MHZ prior to being expelled, assuming that they were a MHZer at all and not just a fangirl. Currently, the only traces of them that remain in the OWOT /mhz world are a few drawings at X:444 Y:444.
Meimei became active on YWOT in early 2022, coinciding with a brief surge in MHZ activity.

The sworn enemy of the Man Hating Zone.
It is unknown if Andrei is aware of Meimei's ties to the MHZ — if any exists at all — but he has nevertheless shown admiration for her art style.
For Christmas of 2023 he made a custom Center Console for /main in the style of one of Meimei's drawings from /computer.yes.
On one occasion he pondered the idea of traveling back in time and showing Meimei's art to YWOT users from 2009.

- Meimei was a cat enthusiast and would frequently post photos of her cat in Global Chat.
- "Meimei" means little sister in Chinese.
- On the other hand, "xiao mei mei" is slang for pussy; this dichotomy is a good indicator of how Meimei acts between different online spaces.
