Games that are fully playable within OWOT.

This page has many entries in common with unique worlds(worlds with scripts built into them) and animated scripts.

/wottt

/wottt was created in June of 2022. Each tile in the world facilitates a game of Tic-tac-toe, which can be reset once the game is finished.

A tile located at the edge of /wottt features a slot next to each of its sides that face open space. If a user types in these slots then a block of new tiles are generated in that direction.

Historically, the world has been expanded both manually and using scripts, with scripted expansions forming cleaner structures, while expansions by users create irregular shapes in the wider body of /wottt.

Unlike other worlds on this page, /wottt does not contain a https://ourworldoftext.com/static/files/[file name]URL in its code. It runs on a server-side script whose source code is not available to the public.

/WOTDguessr

/wotdguessr is a world created by AndreiXYZ(along with a team of collaborators) in 2023. It is a quiz featuring all 116 WoTDs that have been chosen at the time of its creation.

The script for this world is stored at /static/files/wotdguessr_helper.js?v=2, and gives you a space to submit answers all while creating a scoreboard at the top of the screen.

Technically speaking you do have to activate the script by clicking "PLAY." However doing so runs it automatically, and does not present you with a confirmation menu like normal scripts.

Click here to see someone completing every question in the quiz.

Geometry Dash in OWOT

/Geometry.Dash/Stereo_Madness is a replica of a Geometry Dash level with a physics cursor in place of the player character. To allow for this, the entire world is consisted of public tiles. But with the ratelimit set to 0 it is impossible for users other than the owner to make any edits.

Another playable Geometry Dash world exists at gdowotdemo.

Physics cursor

A script that applies gravity to your cursor and lets you jump on text.

/impossibleway

/impossibleway is a platforming challenge created by e_g. It runs on a physics cursor script which is active by default, after e_g. requested FP to make it so. The script for /impossibleway is stored on the site at /static/files/impossible-v1.js.

/funbox

/funbox contains a variety of games.

Try them out yourself or see a demonstration here.

OWOT Story Mode

A project started by JRT in November 2024. The primary scripters for the game seem to be lime.owot, Guest-1052, and Iac1, while various other users are present to make art or propose ideas.

OWOT Story Mode is an RPG set in a dramatized version of the OWOT canvas, where player characters are stick figure representations of notable users(such as Crazy Cat Lady), and enemies/bosses are representations of trolls(such as Starianna). Important figures like FP, InfraRaven, and Andrew Badr are also set to appear as NPCs.

The current plan is for each player to be assigned an individual OWOT clone where their instance of the game will take place. The script for Guest-1052's Hotdog Quest will likely serve as the framework for gameplay, though a new system may be created in its stead.

As of 2026, the project is still in its early planning stages and nothing is set in stone.

Spencer's Magic Meatball

/spencersmagicmeatball allows you to ask the titular meatball questions like it's a Magic 8-ball. All the answers seem to be random.

FP Clicker

/fpclicker is an OWOT-based idle game that uses FPs as currencies. You start the game by clicking on the "PLAY" link, which teleports you to [X:1000 Y:2000] and imposes a simple UI over your screen.

Purchasable items include:

  • Smashing Fingers - 1 FP
    • "FPs per clicks slightly increased and the divider gets the amount of FPs per click removed from it."
  • MS-DOS - 10 FPs
    • "Computers generate twice the amount of FPs."
  • Finished - 1 billion FPs
    • "Congrats kid, you have beaten the first version of this game!"
  • DOS Machine - 2 FPs
    • Passively produces FPs; the amount of computers you have is indicated by a computer icon at the top of the screen.

/orpvpboss

Inspired by https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KH951OcqqYY.

/orpvpboss was an interactive game that allowed users to play a Candybox-esque side scroller. It was released by e_g. on October 18th, 2025.

Users could use comu links to control the player character, executing actions such as moving left/right, attacking and defending. There was also an admin panel that let players spawn enemies, adjust healthbars, and increase/decrease difficulty.

Three enemy types existed:

  • Red stick figures that moved from right to left. These enemies would taunt the player and call them a noob during a game over.
    • Clicking the "defend" comu link placed a barrier in front of the player character, which would block attacks from the red stickmen and gave the player time to recover health.
  • Planes that dropped bombs as they passed overhead.
    • Clicking the "up" comu link placed a barrier above the player character, which protected against bombs being dropped from overhead.
  • A massive (compared to other enemies) braille image of a Minecraft zombie that moved from right to left and bulldozed everything in its path.
    • These enemies had an absurd amount of health and are mostly intended as an absurd gag, i.e. impossible to defeat.

There was also a score(tick) system that constantly increased so long as the player character was alive. On the night of the world's release, e_g. and Falling1 were able to achieve a high score of 1378 without cheating using the admin panel.

Platformer stickman

A user-controlled stickman that runs around the canvas, climbing over text and destroying them by firing projectiles. Users with this script can customize the colors of their stickmen and display their usernames over them.

The script is publicly available here if you want to mess around with it.

See here to see another stickman script by lime.

StormXXBoy's Console Game

A choose your own adventure game located in the Center Console.

Trivia

  • As of 2026, no one has ever attempted to run DOOM in OWOT, though Guest-1052 one suggested that it could be done by porting msdos ASCII DOOM 1999 into the site. On another note, Catha'vi's world /doomwad contains the entirety of doom.wad encoded in octants; the world contains 3 mb of data and is roughly 246 coordinates long.
