NextOS is a newer OWOT user, active on canvas and Global chat. Over the course of 2025, he has gained a controversial reputation as result of displaying bigoted world views.
Controversy
NextOS has expressed various bigoted world views, primarily of homophobia and transphobia. He may also be intersex-phobic, allegedly saying that intersex people are a mistake.
On the OWOT Wiki, he made various biased, controversial, or low quality edits and pages. For example, NextOS alleged that "aka and jamel are in love" when creating the akatas article without any cited source or evidence. Upon further clarification, he explained he heard it as a rumor and had believed it to be true. As a result of low quality contributions and bigotry, NextOS's edit permissions were revoked on May 21st, 2025, 18:59.
Concerns for his mental health and online safety have arose as NextOS continues to express his bigoted views, especially after alleging to being under 13 on Global chat. These concerns have only heightened after NextOS shares his suicidal thoughts, admitted to committing self harm, and feeling misanthropic.
Lime made various efforts to understand NextOS's perspectives and to convince him to quit trying to commit suicide, but unfortunately most of his efforts to help were in vain.
