NextOS is a newer OWOT user, active on canvas and Global chat. His main color is #9D68EE . He was controversial as a result of displaying bigoted world views until July 2025.
Controversy
Before July 2025, NextOS expressed various bigoted world views, primarily of homophobia, transphobia, and intersex-phobia.
On the OWOT Wiki, he made various biased, controversial, or low quality edits and pages. For example, NextOS alleged that "aka and jamel are in love" when creating the akatas article without any cited source or evidence. Upon further clarification, he explained he heard it as a rumor and had believed it to be true. As a result of low quality contributions and bigotry, NextOS's edit permissions were revoked on May 21st, 2025, 18:59.
Concerns for his mental health and online safety were raised as NextOS continued to express his bigoted views, especially after alleging to being under 13 on Global chat[1]. These concerns only heightened after NextOS shares his suicidal thoughts, admitted to committing self harm, and feeling misanthropic.
In response to this, lime.owot made various efforts to understand NextOS's perspectives and to convince him to quit trying to commit suicide, but most of these efforts seemed to be in vain in the short-term.
However, shortly after his hiatus from OWOT from 20th June to 24th July 2025, NextOS began to show change from his behaviour, claiming to have been "blocked by [someone] for defending gay ppl".[2] After this development, he has solidified himself as having changed to supportive in attitudes towards LGBTQ+ people.
Despite being less bigoted, he is still quite toxic. He has told Echoden and others to kill themselves, describing the step-by-step process in gruesome detail. He also still spams, and does so either to back his messages when people aren't listening to him, or to insult people (for instance, demanding people to shove dildos into their anus). He has also spammed against other spammers ("fighting fire with fire" in his words) but doesn't care when people tell him it does not work.
While he has made an apology world for this, he hasn't done much to make amends besides complimenting people. While it is to less of an extent than previous instances, he still spams.
Raywiper
A spam clearing script given to NextOS by lime. The raywiper is designed in such a way that lime can monitor all activity coming from it, and can prevent NextOS from using it in case of wiper abuse.
The script leaves behind a strange pattern when wiping text. Lime uses a similar script to clear spam, but the one he uses doesn't create patterns.
