J.R.T., often shortened to just JRT, is a user on OWOT. His main color is #8000ff. He became active on August 8, 2024, at 11:13 AM CST, but is technically an early midgen since he had known about the site as early as 2020. He discovered OWOT through https://r74n.com. J.R.T. isn't openly racist or promiscuous, so any text in #8000ff exhibiting racist or promiscuous tendencies whilst claiming to be J.R.T. is an impersonator. He will likely be inactive for "quite some time" due to "a decision [made by Donald Trump] that has a high chance of cutting [him] and many others off from computer access here at [his] tradeschool".
He is one of the site's most skilled artists, and especially excels in SLC art.

J.R.T.'s activities on OWOT
J.R.T. usually leaves comments and notes on other users' text or art. Often, J.R.T. archives art that he finds impressive when not making arts himself.
J.R.T. is also nearly impossible to genuinely anger since he has the common sense to acknowledge that OWOT is essentially the boiled-down basics of nearly every internet conflict and caveat. Many anons often target him for reasons often known only to them. Any on-canvas arguments you find him in are almost always driven by J.R.T.'s boredom as the campus he currently resides on is the most boring place on earth and has virtually nothing else to do at times. Such arguments usually only end when either J.R.T. forgets about the argument(s) or the other user(s) stop pressing any issues. Any real arguments (e.g. about another user's activity, etc) usually require readily available context for J.R.T. to take either side.

J.R.T. has made a wide variety of friends and acquaintances over the time he's been on OWOT.

History
The Stalker Anon Event
A little while ago, J.R.T. had temporarily revamped the lime.cave. As expected, this was met with mixed results. J.R.T. himself even had mixed feelings about the renovation as he realized that it took much of lime.cave's original charm away. A peculiar anon, however, had begun hating on J.R.T.'s revamp, mentioning J.R.T.'s mansion in the process. J.R.T.'s mansion is a substantial semi-ASCII art piece J.R.T. often pastes around worlds he's visited—however, the world in which lime.cave was situated is the only public world where J.R.T. has not pasted his mansion, which gave J.R.T. reason to believe this anon was following him from public world to world.
While no exploit path was found, J.R.T. still suspects that the anon used an external text locator to locate J.R.T.'s signature typing style, though this is very far-fetched, to say the least. This situation has been ended, however.
Update on the anon issue: Chances are extremely slim, but the complaint style is extremely similar to the above anon.
2020-2024
J.R.T. Actually found the site itself in 2020 via the r74n commons site. However, he was not aware that OWoT extended beyond the /r74n world itself and didn't even notice chat. Needless to say, he explored a bit, left the first ever J.R.T. signage (which has since been wiped) and left after about an hour believing the site, much like many niche sites these days, was largely dead. He also thought this about many of r74n's sites including Sandboxels (until he read the changelog and recently joined the r74n discord.)
Upon rediscovering the site in 2024, he noticed the chat and that there were worlds beyond that of /r74n. He also discovered that OWoT isn't part of the "r74n site cluster" as J.R.T. calls it. About a week or so after making an account and officially joining OWoT itself and claiming his first world, he would go on to join the official Discord server. He rarely interacts there, but has been interacting more recently, mostly posting his recent artworks.
2024 onward
Eventually, after J.R.T. rediscovered the site and became active, he'd originally started with a few small ASCII arts including the original signed artwork above. His arts also include a tilted isometric house, a 36x magnification art of J.R.T.'s sticksona, and the majority of his mansion.
However, about two weeks after this, he discovered cell background colors and text decoration when visiting /main for the first time, figured out how to enable it on his first ever world, /JRTs_WORLD, and begun dabbling in SLC for the first time. His first SLC arts include the pi logo, a Windows OS style error window, a Cat-DOS mock UI, among other earlier artworks. J.R.T. Then discovered that text decorations effect certain SLC characters, namely ◢, ◣, ◤, ◥, ▲, ►, ▼, and ◄, when first visiting /fp, and begun using those techniques in his first ever large-scale SLC project, Speed-of-Light City. It was around this time that other well known works of his, such as his pipe organ also came to fruition.
Times Of OWoT
In august of 2025, to commemorate being active for ~1 year, J.R.T. Launched his first art series, Times Of OWoT, A series of artworks dedicated to showcase J.R.T.'s experience and knowledge of the site during his time, as well as things about previous eras he finds interesting. The series can be found at /Times_Of_OWoT_by_J.R.T..

Speed of Light City
Created on September 11th, 2024 in /main. The city is located at X: 299792458, Y: 299792458, in reference to the actual speed of light.
Speed of Light City is composed of a large road system filled with SLC buildings, though there are still spaces left to be filled as of 2025. Currently, JRT has built (among other things) a residential district, a downtown area, an airport, and a series of progressively taller skyscrapers. Any user who signs their name at SoL City's guest list has the right to claim one building from the residential district.
