Center Console/Square of Publicity
At the center of the / world (i.e., X: 0, Y: 0) is the Square of Publicity (SoP), also known as the Center Console. It is a section two tiles wide and two tiles tall with a space to type in the center, with the rest being member-protected. The member-protected section hosts various links and scripts, as well as the WOTD. Upon page load, users on / are greeted with the Square of Publicity, making it a common spam target.
Worlds such as /center_console and /center_console_history have been created to document and archive the history of the Square of Publicity.
/center_console_history is a world created by AndreiXYZ to archive changes made to the SOP.
Ratings
At X: 3600, Y: 4500 is the Ratings poll. Also linked via the Square of Publicity, it hosts a selection of worlds users can like or dislike. The world with the highest like-to-dislike ratio may be nominated as WOTD, however, some users have raised concerns alleging that some worlds on the poll may be rigged or automated for or against their rating.
Frontpage Status
At X: 1010, Y: 1010, users can see how many total connections are currently active, as well as the page's total view count.
Map of OWOT
The Map of Our World of Text, located at X:500, Y:500 is, as its name states, a map of Our World of Text. Its scale is 20 XY per 1 tile, and shows data all the way to 1020 XY.
The map was presumably created by the member Happyworld392 in 2019.
Fake world of the day box that claims to be run by the hindu goddess durga
"Did you know that on this page there's a fake world of the day box that claims to be run by the Hindu goddess Durga?"
A plain member protected square at X: 100.
It is unknown which mainpage member created this, or when it was last updated, but the box was first mentioned in early 2021.
Clicking on "me" links to an image of the Hindu goddess Durga, who is said to run the account. Clicking on source leads to an image of a mystic spiral, which can be interpreted as either proof for the validity of the box, or as the source of existence itself. And as of 2025, the current world of the day links to a video titled Bad Milk.

Farlands
The Glitchlands is a place located at X:1000000000000000, Y:1000000000000000, you can only teleport to the GlitchLands using this script. The place is like the farlands in minecraft, The reason why its so glitched is because of a floating point error. Most of the Glitchlands has been spammed.

Pika City
A city located at Y:92. Pika City was founded by Tap20 on January 3rd, 2020 and has since become the largest OWOT city, thanks to the contribution of many users over the years.
