Wipefag is a derogatory term used for anybody who consistently erases text and art, usually with a script, and for no particular reason. A true “Wipefag” will erase text just for the sake of erasing text without gain or purpose. Wipefags typically remain anonymous.
Although “Wipefag” and “Janny” are used interchangeably, Jannies are different from Wipefags because Jannies wipe text for a reason (usually to enforce their own "rules").
An older term with a similar meaning is "Eraser". With the creation of "wipe" scripts with region selection, the term Wipefag became predominant with newer users.
