After exploring the read-only canvas for a while, he stumbled upon YWOT's South Road and followed it all the way to the settlement of "Deep City" at Y:-1000. This awakened his interest in traveling, and over the next two days he would make a longer trip to the Northern outposts of "Sky City" and "Nirvana," which he had heard vague mentions of on his journey down South. The Nirvana pilgrimage was a greatly rewarding experience and was ultimately what got Rscr hooked on YWOT. In particular, he has fond memories of the messages left by past travelers, who seemed to form a close community despite not being present at the same time as one another; and the many hours spent scrolling along a seemingly endless road, not knowing what lies at the end but persisting despite the massive time sink.
 
The next few months saw Rscr make further journeys to 10,000 coordinate landmarks in the other three cardinal directions. This was all done while the Mainpage was read-only, however, and he could not leave any messages behind. But the site's Subworlds were still open, and he explored them until January 6th, 2021, when the Mainpage was abruptly reopened.
 
Upon the return of the Mainpage Rscr immediately makes a second journey to Nirvana. Finally he was able to leave messages of his own among the countless travelers who came before, though he was 14 at the time and not accustomed to writing stuff on the internet, so as of 2025 Rscr cringes heavily at the mere thought of his older writings.
