Lemuria failed the reconsideration period because he had not shown any remarkable change from before the first ban. He still baited to intentionally aggravate people, and he still didn’t care about others feelings. During the reconsideration period, his behavior became worse and worse as he cared less and less about trying to change his actions (if he even cared at all). In fact, when the 30 day mark passed, he went back to regular baiting tactics because he believed he was automatically absolved of all wrongdoing. | Lemuria failed the reconsideration period because he had not shown any remarkable change from before the first ban. During an argument with d9eoead on Tat’s server, Lemuria compared people to machines that could be used, saying that Fern was “defective, and in need of replacement.” He felt sad that his relationship with Fern did not give him the “desired outcome”, implying that he was never genuine in any of his conversations or discussions with her, and only wanted to use her as a source of attention. Strangely, he also kept referring to himself as “we”, and calling Fern and other users “colonies”. D9eoead confronted him about dehumanizing and objectifying people, but Lemuria retracted, saying that he wasn’t genuinely treating like people machines. He stated that he wasn’t only pretending to do so, trying to elicit outrage and distress from d9eoead as one last bait tactic before he left the community. This action shows that he has lost all care in attempting to change, and is fully embracing his selfish desire for attention. Either that, or he was pretending it was bait so he couldn’t be shamed for dehumanizing people. Either way, Lemuria has shown that he is a lost cause, unable to change or face accountability. After this, he has continued to discuss attention extraction on Tat’s server, with some users finding his desperation amusing. | ||
