'''Mr. Black''' was a scripter who migrated from [[Your World of Text]] after learning that OWOT has a higher rate limit, and thus places less restrictions on scripting.

He created an assortment of [[animated scripts]] throughout September 2024, after which he disappeared completely. He returned to YWOT in November 2025 and explained that the reason for his inactivity was that he lost computer access as a result of moving house.

Though his time active on OWOT was brief, Mr. Black's animated creations served as a source of inspiration for another scripter named [[Banksy]], who would create a truly prodigious amount of similar scripts in late 2025 and early 2026.

Black first tested this by playing <nowiki>''Street Fighters'' gameplay using unicodes, but the frame rate was so slow that a few users mistook it for a simulation of Conway'</nowiki>s Game of Life.

</gallery>On September 23rd, 2024, Mr. Black began running a simulated game of Pac Man in the Center Console.

Unicode Pac Men would move randomly across the page, eating normal text while avoiding any instance of the "█" character. "█" (U+219) was used to constrain the Pac Men to the Center Console, though they had the capacity to escape if the barrier was deleted.

Ghosts (👻) moved in roughly the same manner and would delete any Pac Men they ran into. And as in the original game, ghosts turned blue (🥶) whenever a Pac Man eats a power pellet.

There was no specialized ending screen for this game and the level would simply reset upon completion. Due to the random movement of the characters, there was not a single instance where the Pac Men were able to devour all the dots within the level.

At one point there was a feature where the Pac Men would duplicate whenever they ate a cherry (🍒). Users soon found a way to exploit this by pasting large amounts of cherries onto the level, generating an ungodly swarm of hungry Pac Men which could then be unleashed onto the rest of the Mainpage. Logically, it wasn't long before Mr. Black disabled this feature, worrying that having large numbers of Pac Men running at once would strain the OWOT server.
