== Animated scripts ==

{{main|Animated scripts}}Banksy's scripts range from simple, looping graphics to fully playable games, to more complex mechanisms such as full on physics simulations that run on the canvas. Some of their earlier creations (most notably the [[Center Console]] animations) were reminiscent of [[Mr. Black]]'s animations from late 2024, which Banksy had witnessed and was a fan of.

Banksy's initial works from November 2025 were extremely slow and struggled under the frontpage's ratelimit of 512 edits per second. But starting from December 17th, 2025, they began to optimize their scripts by making it so that only the necessary cells are updated with each frame. This allowed later animations to run significantly smoother and achieve higher levels of sophistication.

All scripts from December 19th, 2025 to ????, 2026 were rendered monochrome due to [[2025 color ban|a color ban on the frontpage]]. See [https://ourworldoftext.com/banksy Banksy's world] for the colored versions, as well as some scripts that are not captured here.

Most of the larger/more extravagant animations from this script did not make it into the final product. Some were cut due to technical restrictions and to prevent the Carrion from being too destructive.

Some of the physics simulations used small blobs (like from the first script) as a base unit for drawing lines. The final product was a medium sized, meat colored blob that would automatically attack nearby text using thin tendrils. Like the 3D physics simulations, Banksy could guide its movement by clicking where they wanted it to go, upon which the blob would rapidly glide to the desired location using a special animation. There was also a mode where the blob would slowly travel towards Banksy's cursor, with Banksy using the space bar to toggle between the two types of locomotion.

The blob had to be shrunk down from its planned size due to technical constraints.
