FP is frequently criticized for not appointing any new moderators on OWOT, and especially on the [[OWOT Discord]], which is intended to be a far more controlled environment. Most OWOT admins were admins on the Discord as well, though they tend to be as inactive there as they are on the site itself. Notably, the (former) admin [[Sammich]] was notorious for only sending 15 messages between 2017 and 2025. FP is the creator, lead developer and currently the only active admin of Our World of Text. He is tasked with maintaining the server and client, managing certain events (including the New Year's countdowns and April Fools events), cleaning up the front page, and protecting OWOT from both external and internal threats.
FP is an administrator on the OWOT Discord server. He uploads screenshots to the #screenshots channel on a regular basis and makes sure the server is kept safe from spammers and outside threats.
He became the lead developer of Our World of Pixels after Eldit stepped down on December 10th, 2025.
History
Your World of Text/
The origin of "FP" dates back to May 2015.
I wanted to create an account on YWOT that archives the protected center box on the front page. The plan was to copy the entire box and paste it into protected areas on the page.
I registered ~FP and began to paste the archives I already had in one of my folders. "FP" is an acronym of "Front Page".
I continued to archive until Summer of 2015.
— FP on his early history in YWOT
FP found Your World of Text in December of 2014 and would have been considered a newbie at the time, compared to users like InfraRaven and Mr. Guy who have been around since ~2011. His original YWOT username was /~Destroy1010.
He is known on YWOT for archiving pieces of the site's history on his worlds. At one point InfraRaven was impressed enough with his efforts to link /~fp/ on the site's center console.
In July of 2015 FP witnessed a complete reset of the YWOT mainpage following a massive wave of spam. By the end of the year, he had thought that YWOT was "done for, finished." It was around this time that the original Our World of Text, a copy of YWOT with laxer rate limits, was shut down.
Creating Our World of Text
FP began working on an YWOT clone named NodeWorldOfText in mid-2016. In 2017 the project was noticed by InfraRaven, who offered to host it under the "ourworldoftext.com" domain. The name "NodeWorldOfText" was later given to the open-source version of OWOT.

Administrative Functions
I plan on continuing to develop OWOT until I die. — FP in an interview with AndreiXYZ
Updates
FP releases a Changelog once every (few) year(s) in order to provide a recap on the latest updates to the site.
For several months in 2025, FP released Weekly Briefings as a way to communicate more frequently with the userbase. He ended up terminating this series in October since news tended to be sparse and most briefings contained nothing noteworthy.
Notable updates to the site include:
- April 26th, 2024: Removing the Global Chat from the front page.
- November 2024: Enabling the changing of cell background colors on the Mainpage.
- October 2025: Brought back Global Chat during a Halloween event, it ended up staying permanently due to user demands.
- December 19th, 2025: Removed color from the front page in response to NSFW footage being played at Spawn using a video script.

Moderation(OWOT)
As OWOT tracks every edit made to its canvas, FP has the power to trigger rollbacks whenever spam gets out of hand. He can also place rate limits on specific users—or on certain areas of the canvas—to curb destructive scripting or any activity that puts a strain on the server. In addition to this, FP regularly bans users for disruptive spamming.
Edits on subworlds are tracked as well, and users can request FP to perform rollbacks on their pages. Importantly, however, there is an option for world owners to turn off edit tracking. FP encourages users to do so in the event that they have a long-running script (Ex. Lime's radio) on their pages, so as to not clog up storage. If they do not comply then he will resort to turning it off himself. This is stated to be the only instance where FP will temper with other users' worlds.
FP is currently the only active moderator on OWOT, meaning that the canvas is still greatly chaotic despite his best efforts. There are several other admins along with a group of users with member permissions on the Mainpage (i.e. being able to create member-only tiles), but almost all of them are inactive as of 2024. On one occasion Poopman privated the entire site in order to protect it from ?????. This is among the only instance of an administrative action performed by someone other than FP.
For years there have been petitions for FP to appoint new admins or give moderation powers to trusted users. Nothing has been done about this so far, with FP presumably being distrustful of giving out administrative power.

Moderation(Discord)
FP is frequently criticized for not appointing any new moderators on OWOT, and especially on the OWOT Discord, which is intended to be a far more controlled environment. Most OWOT admins were admins on the Discord as well, though they tend to be as inactive there as they are on the site itself. Notably, the (former) admin Sammich was notorious for only sending 15 messages between 2017 and 2025. Facts such as these have prompted accusations of favoritism from the userbase, since all admins before 2024 were appointed purely on basis of being friends with FP while the site was being developed.
After much pressure, FP appointed a veteran scripter named Fernsy (formerly Yagton) as an admin on the server. Today Fern is in charge of the majority of moderation on the OWOT Discord.
FP also runs a #screenshots channel where he archives interesting snapshots from Spawn.
FP changes the names of all Discord channels on April's Fool (Ex. #screenshots -> #shotscreen and #trash -> #treasure).
Events/Holidays
FP changes the Center Console for most holidays.
On New Year's Eve and Christmas, he hosts a live countdown for every timezone.
On several occasions he collaborated with Poopman to create holiday-themed worlds.

Relations With Other Users
Anon_guy and Dzeni
Eventually, anon_guy and Dzeni expressed interest in my YWOT clone and I continued to work on it.
Anon_guy offered to run my clone on his server for a few days and we talked on there and experimented around with scripts.
Eventually, the codebase got progressively worse and I eventually had to scrap the whole project and start fresh.
However by then, we had already lost interest in this YWOT clone and we weren't planning on putting more work into it.
— FP during his interview with Andrei
In 2016, Anon_guy and Dzeni were the first users who took note of FP's NodeWorldOfText project, which later went on to become OWOT.
InfraRaven
Eventually, InfraRaven caught notice that I was making a YWOT clone and wondered why I didn't tell him about it.
He offered to run my clone on one of his spare servers, and the rest is history.
— FP during his interview with Andrei
InfraRaven, though not an active admin, is considered the co-owner of OWOT as he hosts the site on his server. Notably, OWOT's sister website OWOP is hosted on the same server
Andrew Badr
The largely inactive developer of YWOT. In April of 2025 FP contacted Andrew Badr to alert him of a false phishing warning that had been placed upon both of their sites.
Fern
Fern has taken care of most administrative functions on the Discord ever since her appointment in 2024, though she would still report issues to FP on certain circumstances.
AndreiXYZ

I mean, my internet career has definitely evolved a lot, I've gotten engaged in more big
communities thanks to the friends I've met on this platform. But I really like
OWOT's concept, and pretty much all of its sister websites' too. I look up to you,
especially since you singlehandedly made OWOT when you were 14, a feat I would
never be able to achieve, I mean heck, you started development in mid-2016, when
you were 13 years old.
— Andrei during his interview with FP
Andrei interviewed FP in October of 2023(a.k.a. the 6th anniversary of OWOT).
It is highly recommended that you read through the interview in its entirety, but some (summarized) snippets include:
- Q: [What is the story behind OWOT's creation?]
- A: [I began working on OWOT in mid-2016, but lost interest in mid-2017. I restarted the project after talking to Dzeni and Anon_guy, who offered to host it on their server; but the development process was still greatly inefficient and I had to remake the entire repository every time I wanted to make the change. Then InfraRaven caught wind of the project and offered to run it on one of his spare servers, and the rest is history.]
- Q: Have you ever felt that OWOT would go nowhere in terms of popularity while you were developing it.
- A: Back when I first started working on OWOT, I never anticipated anybody beyond my small group of friends on YWOT using it. Even during OWOT's first couple of months, hardly anybody ever used it. The community organically grew at a slow pace over the span of a couple years.
- Q: Have you had any difficulties or burnout or wanted to make a feature but it was just out of your devskill's reach?
- A: By November of 2017, I was already burned out from developing OWOT and nearly dropped out of developing it. By sheer miracle, I picked up work on OWOT again and started refactoring the codebase here and there.
- Q: Are you ever going to quit working on OWOT? Like, will you ever pass the torch to someone else, InfraRaven perhaps, as he's the one hosting the domain, or maybe some other staff member like Mr.Guy? I wonder how many generations OWOT will last, well, before getting a visit from the FBI for the actions the community has done there. I'm joking, of course.
- A: I plan on continuing to develop OWOT until the day I die. I'm not aware of any viable heir to OWOT since I'm not aware of anybody else who's as interested in OWOT as I am. By then, who knows? maybe there'll be people lining up to take my torch should the need arise.Maybe a competitor will spring up, leading to owot becoming too irrelevant for anybody to want to "inherit." This is surprisingly common in the software world - I've seen developers for libraries who still continue to maintain that library decades later.
Beyond OWOT
Outside of Our World of Text, FP has a few roles. He actively maintains an upcoming avatar game led by InfraRaven called Spooks and has started working on the Uvias client.
Both his Discord and GitHub usernames are System2k.
Your World of Text
On YWOT, FP is primarily known his efforts to archive the site's Mainpage. His userpage is linked on YWOT's Center Console.
Since 2015, the base world /~fp/ has recorded changes made to YWOT's center console; it served a similar role to OWOT archive pages like AndreiXYZ's /center_console_history and /mch_complete. A series of large Mainpage snapshots(up to 1000 coordinates on all sides) can be found at /~fp/photographWorlds. A collection of smaller snapshots of Spawn can be found at /~fp/waybackYWOT.
Though he does not have admin permits, FP is the closest thing YWOT has to an active moderator now that Andrew Badr is dormant. In 2022 he restored YWOT's Mainpage after two large scaled griefs that destroyed hundreds of coordinates of text. When asked, FP reassured that he had a backup of the entire Mainpage from 2020.
FP also filed a report to Cloudflare after YWOT was falsely flagged for phishing at the beginning of 2025.
Jotleaf
Jotleaf was an infinite canvas that supported image and audio files in addition to text. It was a project created by Andrew Badr, the creator of YWOT, in 2012.
Jotleaf was never given a chance
it was simply too far ahead of its time
it got the attention of a bunch of people, especially around facebook. but it was nowhere near as big as ywot at that time.
I think the only real thing I saw was a birthday thing for one of Andrew's friends. it started off with an image, then you scrolled in a direction to reveal more images and text.
one day, Infra (I think) shared a link to a Jotleaf page which did gain the attention of ywot. mainly just text and links. I can't recall if there was anything impressive.
then I destroyed the page. look, I'm not going to censor history to make myself look good.
— FP talking about his experience with Jotleaf before its closure in 2015
Our World of Pixels
Though FP is largely inactive within OWOP, he did create a timelapse for the site from 2018 to 2022.
On December 10th, 2025, OWOP's lead developer Eldit stepped down and handed ownership to FP, who will collaborate with the other OWOP staff in order to decide the future of the site.

Uvias
The login system for OWOT and OWOP.
FP owns Uvias along with InfraRaven and Eldit.
Node World of Text
The source code for OWOT, released on February 23rd, 2023.

Weird FP Messages
Since FP usually talks in a formal tone, user e_g. decided to make a thread to collect his weirder messages.
AndreiXYZ has criticized the thread, saying that "[FP's] a human too he isn't some serious ass multitrillionaire company CEO who uses ultra strict language proper grammar punctuation no capitalized words no memes no slang no swear words no nothing just grumpy serious ass mf yall are autists."
"We thank you fp for today"
A trend spawned from an image by Catha'vi, which can be seen in the memes section on this page.
FP Clicker
/fpclicker is an OWOT-based idle game that uses FPs as currencies.
You start the game by clicking on the "PLAY" link, which teleports you to [X:1000 Y:2000] and imposes a simple UI over your screen.
Purchasable items include:
- Smashing Fingers - 1 FP
- "FPs per clicks slightly increased and the divider gets the amount of FPs per click removed from it."
- MS-DOS - 10 FPs
- "Computers generate twice the amount of FPs."
- Finished - 1 billion FPs
- "Congrats kid, you have beaten the first version of this game!"
- DOS Machine - 2 FPs
- Passively produces FPs; the amount of computers you have is indicated by a computer icon at the top of the screen.
