His activities within the community include creating [[Art|ASCII Art]], learning about the site's history, screenshotting interesting things he finds, and talking on the [[OWOT Discord|Discord server]].

Rscr had known about OWOT since late 2020—not too long after he discovered Your World of Text—but was not interested in the site at first. Like many YWOT users, he used to think that OWOT was a spammier website that lacked most of YWOT's charms.

Rscr only became active in September 2024 thanks to the efforts of two scripters: [[MothCultLeader|Catha'vi]] for their [https://yourworldoftext.wiki/OWOT-YWOT_Bridge OWOT-YWOT bridge], and [[Mr. Black]] for their variety of animated creations, which Rscr recorded and uploaded to the OWOT Discord. From then on he discovered a wide range of creative worlds, ranging from [[Meimei|Meimei's]] [https://ourworldoftext.com/computer.yes /computer.yes] to the [[Symbols for Legacy Computing|SLC]] art in [[/main]], that made him realize that OWOT was more than just a site for spamming.  

Ever since then Rscr had been active on both YWOT and OWOT, studying and archiving the history of both ''World of Text'' sites.  

=== On the OWOT Wiki ===

On July 28th of that year he became the second user to receive the <code>@Wiki contributor</code> role from [[FP]](''the first being [[Dat Hack3r]]'').

FP made Rscr an administrator of the wiki on August 3rd, 2025. His first administrative action occurred on the following day when he IP banned a vandal, which—since every user on the wiki had the same IP address—had the unfortunate side effect of disabling every other account on the site. To prevent this from happening again, he was subsequently given the right to manage editing permissions for wiki users.

== Art ==

Rscr has been making [[Art|text art]] on [[Your World of Text|YWOT]] since late 2020, starting with ANSI art before moving on to more traditional ASCII art. He began drawing in OWOT at the start of 2025 because the site allows him to copy his creations for safekeeping, whereas a good amount of his YWOT creations had long since been griefed, with no backups existing.

He continued traveling the canvas, albeit with less frequency as years went by. In 2022 he contributed to an effort by Mandrake to populate YWOT's [https://yourworldoftext.wiki/Northwest_Line Northwest] and [https://yourworldoftext.wiki/Southeast_Line Southeast] Lines, leaving messages, art, and ASCII towns along these previously barren trails. He also spent a great deal of time exploring old subworlds from the early 2010s, ranging from YWOT's many [https://yourworldoftext.wiki/North_Road_(2010_Archive) Mainpage] [https://yourworldoftext.wiki/North_Road_(2015_Archive) backups] to the forgotten reaches of [https://yourworldoftext.wiki/Msernst /msernst], which was known for its [https://cultorjustweird.libsyn.com/s2e7-the-line cult following] in the early days of the site.

* Rscr's Discord pfp is ''Poromya Granulata'', a species of predatory bivalve that catches copepods using an enlarge siphon.

** On the other hand, [[d9eoead]], a marine biology enthusiast, was able to recognize it right away.

*** Rscr himself had been interested in invertebrate biology—especially bivalves—for much of his elementary school years, but left this fascination behind in 4th grade to pursue far less interesting hobbies(''such as being on infinite text canvases'').

***Along with Rscr, Yosicat has shown a great fascination with the [[Manhatingzone]] and their long history on both YWOT and OWOT. He also looks up to [[Fp]] and [[InfraRaven]] for their dedication to  the World of Text community.

*On the other hand, Rscr has personally invited multiple OWOT users into the YWOT Explorers community. Most of them were given invites due to the fact that they were also veteran YWOT users at one point and had valuable knowledge about the site's history.
