{{Stub}} displays a message box at the top of stubs, marking them as such and encouraging editors to expand them. A stub is a page too short to cover its subject adequately. By default, {{stub}} assumes that the page is an article. For pages outside the mainspace, the first positional parameter or |type= can be used to specify the page type (e.g., template documentation). Pages with this template are automatically added to Category:Stubs.

TemplateData

When placed at the top of a page, this template marks it as a stub and encourages editors to contribute.
