tatejo is a Mexican OWOT user with Chronic Alt Syndrome. He's made some OWOT related Discord servers,most notably being the OWOT merch store and tat's Psychiatric Institution for the Clinically Insane.

Triple parentheses incident

In November 2024, Tatejo used the triple parentheses in a message, which read, "once again pippin is getting dog piled for not following the (((regime)))". 50 minutes after the message, Fern confronted Tatejo with a link to the Wikipedia article. A small argument continued between the two, during which Tatejo used the term "dindu nuffin", which mocks the African-American Vernacular English pronunciation of "didn't do nothing". Tatejo was given a warning.

TatGPT

On June 8th, 2025, Catha'vi pitched to Fern the idea of training a Large Language Model off of Tatejo's message history, and running it as a bot in the OWOT Discord server. Fern agreed to this on two conditions:

1. That the bot be entirely constrained to the #trash channel.
2. That Fern should be able to audit the LLM's source code for security checks.

Catha'vi promptly began work on the project, and TatGPT had spat out its first nonsensical messages by June 11th, 2025. Though it must be noted that this first run of output was only marginally more unhinged than Tat's original dialogue.

On June 12th, 2025, Catha'vi created a Discord server for users to test and interact with an early build of TatGPT.
