The current WOTD has been extended for another week.

== Attacks on Privex mostly subsided & clarification ==
The hosting provider used by OWOP and Uvias, Privex, has been attacked mercilessly for the past week. This has disrupted access to OWOP and Uvias for a few days.

To clarify, Our World of Text does ''not'' run on a Privex server. The attacks on Privex have nothing to do with why OWOT has been running slow for the past few weeks/months. As a matter of fact, OWOT is not slow due to a (D)DoS attack but rather because the underlying host did not properly optimize their storage system. This means that there is a high latency when loading disk sectors that don't exist in the cache of the OS. That being said, there are workarounds underway for this exact issue.
