About
Katiserie (stylized as katiserie) or Kat, formerly Kat0469 and sl1029, is a genderfluid, pansexual, polyamorous YouTuber and OWOT user who was born on November 9, 2009, making her {2009} years old as of today. She was known for spamming /myhub a lot between 2020 and 2021. She was originally from bonk.io, but discovered OWOP through advertisements and found OWOT through OWOP on December 25th, 2019. She goes by any pronouns but prefers she/they.
History
She was first seen on OWOT with the name "sl1029 from owop.me", signifying that she became aware of the site through Our World of Pixels. On the same day, she created her first Discord account named "sl1029 from owop.me", later shortened to "sl1029".
On April 10th, 2020, she made her first major world, /myhub. /myhub was supposed to be katiserie's hub for scripts, themes, and more. Inspired by Vixie (known at the time as fopsie)'s page, she slowly gathered scripts from her page before she obfuscated the scripts. She was very excited about it becoming her first WOTD after 3 weeks.
On November 5th, 2020, she made her 2nd WOTD. It was called /killallmiphas, riding on the wave of hate towards Mipha from Zelda: Breath of the Wild for apparently no reason. This trend lasted so long that katiserie would go on and make 2 more worlds revolving around the same topic.
On January 27th, 2021, she made her third WOTD, /roomsofowot. It was inspired by spawn, which at the time had boxes made of box-drawing Unicode characters. It was a community-driven world, so everyone was free to add their own stuff to the world, and everyone was free to claim whichever room they wanted. The only limitation was that you had to work for Bobux to purchase items. It lasted a month before slowly dying out. Katiserie tried to revive it multiple times over the years but failed.
On November 5th, 2021, she made /machinery, which had a lot of drawings of machinery before it got wiped.
In 2022, she didn't contribute much to the OWOT community, but at the end of 2022, she made her 4th WOTD,/piggedrolls, with its name being based on a phrase that was being spammed on OWOT chat, "pigged roll", which came from PinkiePie switching the initials of "rigged poll" as a joke.
At the time, the WOTD rating system was a poll where users put an "x" in front of whichever world(s) they liked. The poll was nearly unmoderated, making the system easy to rig. This resulted in the nomination of some bad worlds as WOTD.
/piggedrolls was brainstormed by katiserie and Bzuki, the latter mentioning that there should be a world that complains about other, terrible worlds that shouldn't have deserved WOTD. It ended up being a world where other worlds were rated by critics such as katiserie, Bzuki, tap20, and 1234567890.
As with many of katiserie's worlds at the time, it was member-only, but you could apply to be a critic by typing in the "Apply for member" zone. The chat and a public area allowed non-members to rate other worlds. It made newer users aware of the current state of WOTDs, which are not as good as they used to be.
In mid-2023, the poll was replaced by a harder-to-rig rating system. There was also a knock-off made, called /hoggedrolls, but it was a lot less popular than /piggedrolls.
Currently, she is not as active of an OWOT user as he used to be, but she still goes on the site occasionally when she remembers to. She also tried to make another WOTD but failed.[Which and when?]
Furrism status and OCs
She is a furry. Her fursona is an orange cat called Kat, originating from a username generator he coded up on the kids' coding website Scratch. The name given by the generator was "ambercat73". Shortly after, she changed some of her online names to ambercat73, then Kat0469 before finally settling on katiserie as her online alias from 2023 onwards.
Kat gained purple hair around the start of 2023 because of a change in katiserie's Roblox avatar.
She made another furry OC for Adelaide, a bot she scripted, which was a white kitty dog with reddish-pink accents. More information about Adelaide can be found in § Adelaide.
She has faced and continues to face significant hate for being a furry, as most OWOT users, especially anons, tend to hate furries.
Adelaide
Adelaide was a bot scripted by katiserie based on cv and yagton's 8-ball and Talking Ben bots. It was small at first but Kat added more features to the bot as it was developed. The commands in the final version of the bot were as follows:
ad!kill [person]
- "Killed" said person.
ad!rand [number]
- Randomly generated a number from 0 to [number][guesswork, please correct if needed]. If you didn't type a number, it acted as a die.
ad!rap
- Generated a random "rap" from a list of words.
Adelaide also had a cat emoticon detector, saying "Another floof, another catch, vroom vroom" every time a cat emoticon was said in chat, but that was removed for being spammy.
