Placeholder

Placeholder, also known as place_holdrr or p_h, is a proficient SLC artist who tarnished his reputation in 2023. He was exposed for having 3 alts, and for making and spreading NSFW art of lime.owot. Placeholder has since expressed guilt over his past actions and continues to make art on and off, though he is still distrusted by much of the community. Notably, however, lime has largely forgiven him and acknowledges that he's become a better person.

His worlds include /place_holdrr, where he showcases his art and OCs, and /laserdude, which also has a section for scripts.

Placeholder's text color is #ef3eff while his former alt, Laserdude, used #ff0000.

Alts

Boo

Boo was supposedly a girl who makes ASCII art, known for roleplaying as a ghost.

Placeholder has stated he never was Boo but one day he realized she disappeared and started impersonating her.

As Boo, Placeholder created an OWOT radio named Boo's Beats, which acted as a precursor to lime.radio.

Bluefire

Not known is much about Bluefire.

Inked

Inked was an artist with a bold black color, This was the last known alt placeholder made.
An anonymous user by the name of "CatBox22x" starting posting a series of similarities shared between them.
Including: artstyle, both being fans of half life, having the same age and others.

Many people disagreed with this theory, but then eventually Placeholder admitted it.

Laserdude/Burner

Laserdude, also known as Burner, was supposedly a 14 year old ASCII art maker who would frequently indulge in roleplaying on the canvas and making comics.

Placeholder said in 2025 that Laserlime was created with the expressed purpose of ruining Laserdude's reputation, so that he would no longer be pressured to maintain the persona within the community.

Gunpowder

Gunpowder was an alt that Placeholder used to interact with the community following the Laserlime drama.

This account was primarily known for /CommunityProjects, which became World of the Day in June of 2025. The world worked by presenting users with a prompt and having them vote on a list of descriptors. After the conclusion of voting, Gunpowder/Placeholder would then make a drawing based off of the winning descriptors.

So far the prompts have been "gun" and "sword," and users could vote on things like the gun's trigger type or the length of the sword's handle.

Laserlime

Laserlime was a NSFW comic featuring lime and Placeholder's stick figure OCs. It was repeatedly spammed at Spawn in late 2023 and early 2024.

Placeholder later said in 2025 that the Laserlime drama was started as a way to forcibly retire the Laserdude persona, since he didn't feel like juggling alts on Discord and OWOT.

"it's probably already obvious who I am, I just wanted to say that I never wanted to leave owot, I wanted to continue making art and chatting with other people like guest, but I guess I'm just too haunted by my past. despite what you may have heard I'm not a creep or greifer, I just want to create stuff and talk with other nice people. unfortunately I don't know what to do to make that happen, I guess it's just going to have to wait for now.

Art

Placeholder specializes in drawing guns and other weapons. He has also created a variety of infrastructure for lime.owot's radio, with lime being one of the only people who's still friends with him after all his controversies.

He took on a lower profile after the Laserlime drama, and presumably left the site for a significant amount of time. In June/July 2025 he created /CommunityProjects under the guise of Gunpowder, and in September 2025 he made a formal return to making art on the Mainpage.

/place_holdrr holds an incomplete archive of his drawings.
