Brief outages involving accounts
Last Tuesday (January 14th), the OWOT server was impacted as a result of the Uvias account server experiencing technical difficulties. Users who were logged in had difficulties loading the website during certain hours as the Uvias server experienced slowdowns with an unknown cause. Users who were logged out weren't impacted. At the height of the issue, the server would return a 502 error and thus all users were temporarily forced to access the site as a logged-out user for several hours.
