Space Fighters is a video game that can be played on Our World of Text coded by poopman, based on a more elaborate version coded for Your World of Text by Codefactor.
Gameplay
The player controls a "ship" (represented by the character "⮞") with the keys WASD. To fire, the Space key is used. A life is lost when the ship gets shot down or written over.
The player collects points by moving over some characters ("-", "|", numbers, some Unicode, including box drawing), but can't move over others (letters, "_", some Unicode, including block elements).
A grave containing information about the player and the number of points the player has is written on the last position of the ship once the player runs out of lives. When collected, an extra life and the number of points on it is given to its collector.
Sequel
The sequel has it's pros and cons. It runs faster, you can play where ever you'd like by using the "Go to coordinates" button on the menu. It has a custom background too, giving the player a nice experience. You can go lightspeed in there too but you will be put back into the middle of the canvas when you go too fast. And you can play multiplayer too! Let's get into the cons. It doesn't have a point count system, no coins, nothing. It's only players. There aren't many cons other from this one.
