Rooms of OWOT

/roomsofowot is a world created by katiserie on January 27th, 2021. It was inspired by spawn, which at the time had boxes made of box-drawing Unicode characters. It was a community-driven world, so everyone was free to add their own stuff to the world and everyone was free to claim whichever room they want. The only limitation was that you had to work for Bobux to purchase items. It lasted a month before slowly dying out. Katiserie tried to revive it multiple times over the years, but failed.

Sections

This chapter explains each section of the roomsofowot world in detail.

Jobs

Jobs is a section where you can get different jobs, that earn you different amounts of Bobux, which was the currency of /roomsofowot.

Janitor

The Janitor job earns you 20 Bobux per minute and only requires membership of the world.

Meteorologist

The Meteorologist job earns you 80 Bobux per minute and requires a weather station.

Miner

The Miner job earns you 70 Bobux and 1 gem per minute. It requires a pickaxe and a mining card.

Musician

The Musician job earns you 50 Bobux per minute and requires an instrument.

YouTuber

The YouTuber job earns you as many Bobux per minute as you have subscribers. It requires a webcam, a microphone, some editing software, and a PC/laptop.

Lumberjack

The Lumberjack job earns you 50 Bobux per minute and requires an axe.

Dancer

The Dancer job earns you 30 Bobux per minute and requires a dance tutorial.

Teacher

The Teacher job earns you 60 Bobux per minute and requires a PhD in the subject you are teaching.

Time Teller

The Time Teller job earns you the least amount of Bobux, at just 10 Bobux per minute and requires a clock.

Restaurant Worker

The Restaurant Worker job earns you 20 Bobux per minute and everything you sell and it requires a Restaurant card. This job makes you a worker at Tap20's restaurant.

Ad Maker

The Ad Maker job earns you 40 Bobux per minute and requires permission from Tap20 to make an ad about his restaurant.

RoomCoin Miner

The RoomCoin Miner job earns you 100 Bobux per minute and requires a PC/laptop. It is the roomsofowot equivalent of crypto mining. The income can be increased with more powerful mining machines.

Gardener

The Gardener job earns you 60 Bobux per minute and requires seeds.

Coder

The Coder job earns you 120 Bobux per minute and requires a PC/laptop and a coding book.

Game Maker

The Game Maker job earns you 240 Bobux per minute. It is the highest paying job of roomsofowot. It requires 10 days of experience with the Coder job.

Rapper

The Rapper job earns you 60 Bobux per minute and requires 10 days of experience with the Musician job.

Room Cleaner

The Room Cleaner job earns you 10 Bobux per minute and doesn't require anything.

Shop

The shop is where you buy items. You can buy different types of items from there.

Bobux Machine

Costs 335 Bobux and generates 1 Bobux per second.

You can upgrade it to generate 10 Bobux per second using a nuclear reactor and 450 Bobux.

Bobux counter

One of the few items that is given to you for free. Shows your bobux count.

Pickaxes and Mining card

The starting Pickaxe and Mining Card Pack costs 35 Bobux. Upgrades can be made using the crafting table.
