A World of the Day (WOTD or WotD) is a featured world in the Center Console that is determined by the Ratings poll. Despite the name, WOTDs last longer than a day, with recent years seeing WOTDs that remain for weeks on end. A world can only be WOTD once and cannot be private, unless the world is a WIP. A list of all WOTDs can be found at /wotd. Worlds can be requested at /fp/submit to get added to the poll so they can become a WOTD.
